Cass Bettinger
Bettinger is a well-known community bank consultant, working with the ownership
groups, boards of directors, and senior management teams of financial institutions
to assist in managing change, enhancing shareholder value, and controlling
their destinies.
A native of Salt Lake City, Utah, Bettinger is a founding associate of The Bank CEO Network,an educational forum for successful community
bank CEOs. Previously, as Senior Vice President of Sheshunoff and Company, Bettinger
implemented and managed the "High Performance Affiliation Program," which involved
a direct working relationship with more than 800 bank and bank holding company CEOs
nationwide.
A former chapter President for Robert Morris Associates, Bettinger has been on the
faculties of RMA's Advanced Lending School and the Stonier Graduate School of Banking.
He also served on the faculty of the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at
Southern Methodist University. Bettinger has MA and MBA degrees and is a graduate
of the Pacific Coast Banking School. He also is author of "High Performance in the 90s: Leading the Strategic & Cultural
Revolution in Banking," "The Bank Director's Role in the Strategic Planning
Process," and more than 50 articles on banking-related topics.
Previously, Bettinger was affiliated professionally with Citicorp in New York, Latin
America and Asia, and with Commercial Security Bank based in Salt Lake City, Utah.
